6 Cha Cha Cha Poems

In 6 cha cha cha this week we have been doing personification poems about snow.

Here are some of our best poems.

Michael's poem

The snow is like a fire breathing dragon,

swooping down covering the cars in a thick white layer of snow,

freezing people so much that they cant come out of their homes.

His teeth are like icicles hanging of the bottom of homes and cars they are so sharp that they can kill someone.

The snow shoots down in the wind like a fire breathing dragon!

then the snow stops and the dragon goes to sleep.

Ziyaad's poem

The snow is like a leopard wild cheeky and camouflaged.

It pounces about in the air

Its fluffy as can be.

Its jaws are like icicles and its claws are like flakes.

Its sneaky and it jumps.

Its white and its fast and it glides through the air an camouflages in trees.

Its furry and its thick.

and it gracefully swoops by and strokes you genitally.

Barack Obama Review

For our homework we had to watch Barak Obama's inaugration and then write a review about it.

In August 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King stood in Washington D.C. and told an audience of 250,000:"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation were they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the contents of their character". On the 20th of Jauary 2009, in that same city, in front of a crowd of 2 million, Barack Obama took on the mantle as President of the united states of america and, in no small way, bought Dr. Kings vision one step closer.

FACTS

Barack Obama was born on the 4th of August 1961, Obama was born at the Kapi'olani Medical Centere for Women and Children in Honolulu,Hawaii. he is a graduate of columbia university and harvard law school. Obama had many jobs, such as a civil right attorney in Chicago.

Barack Obama's speach lasted 18 minutes 25 seconds, which was not as long as the longest speach in 1841 by President Harrison, in the freezing weather he had no hat, caught Pneamonia, and then died 31 days later.
